Identifiers and company
dot_number is the carrier’s stable registration identifier. mc_number and active_dockets describe operating-authority dockets. legal_name, dba_name and company_officer fields describe the business as filed.
Contacts and quality
email, phone, cell_phone and fax are self-reported. email_flag identifies unique, shared-same-company or likely service/agent addresses. email_shared_count reports how many carrier records share an address. Empty means not supplied.
Physical and mailing addresses
phy_ columns describe the physical address used for state packs. mail_ columns hold mailing details where available. Preserve postal codes as text when importing.
Fleet and cargo
power_units, total_drivers, fleet_bucket, owner_operator and cargo_segments support territory and fleet targeting. authority_class and op_scope separate authority and operation scope. Cargo categories can overlap.
Feed additions
first_seen is the UTC date this pipeline first published the carrier in its discovery feed. feed_events explains registration, snapshot, reactivation or authority signals. Event and registration dates can precede publication.
