DOT number lookup
Search every active US motor carrier by USDOT number, MC number or company name. Each result opens a profile with the carrier’s authority, fleet, cargo and MCS-150 filing dates.
What the lookup shows
Every interstate motor carrier, and many intrastate ones, holds a USDOT number. A for-hire carrier of regulated freight also holds operating authority with an MC number. This lookup searches both, and the carrier’s legal and DBA names, across 2,217,311 active registrations.
A profile shows what the carrier filed on its MCS-150: authority, interstate or intrastate operation, power units, drivers and cargo. It also shows when the carrier registered, when it last updated its filing, and when its next biennial update is due. Emails and phones are masked; the full details come in the state lists.
Need many carriers at once, not one? Browse the largest trucking companies, or start from a state page such as trucking companies in Texas, which lists carriers city by city.
